A variety of services are offered. We utilized chiropractic care with Dr. Jill. Forever grateful to her, as we saw her at the beginning of our journey when we still had zero answers. She was a source of guidance and support. We also utilized biofeedback. It was fascinating and we may return for more of this in the future.
He searches for root causes of chronic conditions, rather than just treating the symptoms. Truthfully, this felt a bit “out of the box” but we were open minded and trying to find solutions. The urine analysis did identify many issues (bacterial, fungal, viral, etc.) in my son’s system and the remedies did seem to help.
We have seen Dr. Alyssa and Dr. Kennedy and felt both were very knowledgeable and provided great care for our family. They have different specialities and/or skills that they can provide. Dr. Kennedy is our go to. Her patience is unmatched. She’s simply the best.
We have had great results and continue to see Dr. Lum on a regular basis. He works virtually, so while local to KC, anyone anywhere can become his patient. If you are dealing with symptoms with no known root cause, schedule an appointment. The first 15 minute consultation is free - you have nothing to lose. Dr. Lum has been amazing for our family - he really listens, is very knowledgeable, and we’ve been so pleased with the results.
A chiropractor and functional health practitioner who consults with people around the world. His practice focuses on discovering the underlying root causes of chronic diseases and creating personalized health programs for a wide range of conditions, including mold illness. He is certified in the Shoemaker Protocol.
We worked with both Nic and Jeff. They did visual inspections of our home, post remediation, along with surface and air sampling. They were great to work with, provided very thorough reports, and ultimately helped us to have peace of mind about mold levels in our home. We are still working with them, as mold levels are still too elevated in our home.
Sarah was very generous with her time and expertise. While we ultimately did not hire EcoSafe for any projects, she spent a lot of time on the phone answering questions, and also was another set of eyes who read over mold sample results and reports and gave us her professional opinion.
We used Stacey for a thorough mold inspection in our home. It took several hours, included a full visual inspection, use of thermal cameras, moisture meters, an instascope, and more. A full home health report was provided, along with remediation recommendations. Stacey was great to work with and spent a lot of time that day, and in the weeks following through phone calls and texts, educating us and helping us navigate mold issues in our home.
Jasen’s attitude throughout our remediation was one of understanding, compassion, and professionalism. Our remediation has not been straight forward or easy (are any?!) but he continues to tackle some tough molds. We appreciate his ongoing communication, and his pursuit of our peace of mind.
Ben, an employee of this company read our inspection report and remediation plan. He came to our house to do a visual inspection and provide an estimate. He answered so many questions while at our home. He was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Ultimately we did not hire due to finances, but had money been no object, I would have loved to work with this company. If it fits your budget, I think Phoenix would be a solid choice.
We did not use this company, however they were recommended by Springfield Quality Services, who we did hire and trusted. Could be a company worth considering.
We made an attempt at OT for reflex integration and sensory issues with Hattie. She was lovely. Our life was just too chaotic at the time to be consistent with appointments.
Our current provider of OT. We see Danielle and she is amazing. Patient, understanding, great at her job. If your child has sensory difficulties or retained primitive reflexes, I highly recommend Pediatric Connections. They address a range of other needs as well.
A program designed to help kids and adults improve focus, behavior, social skills, anxiety, and academic performance. Their comprehensive programming incorporates learnings from cognitive, behavioral and nutrition fields—an integrated approach. We were all set to seek help there and then were notified that my son was a bit too young and not a great candidate for their program. I do think this would be a great resource for some families.
I will forever love Cody. She saw me at my worst - total frazzled first-time mom with a very sick baby. She let me cry without judgement and she was a key person who pushed me to dig deeper and truly find answers. She offers infant occupational therapy services specializing in feeding therapy, airway development, and body work.
She aims to address the underlying issues that are causing feeding dysfunction.
PCIT - parent child interaction therapy. We gave it a try in navigating my son’s behaviors and neurological needs. There are two parts - CDI and PDI - child directed and parent directed interactions. We didn’t make it through the entire program. It just wasn’t the right fit for our son. That said, he loved CDI and we gained good things from it. Truly it filled his bucket and was effective. We still utilize ideas gained from PCIT. We saw Julie and recommend her.
We did nature play therapy and music therapy here. It was a fun environment, and Stephanie is great. A wide range of services are offered and the thing I liked most was the community present.
